Tamástslikt Cultural Institute is the umbrella for the Tribal museum in which the historical-cultural storyline and themes were  developed by the Tribes.  The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) include the Cayuse, Walla Walla, and Umatilla tribes.  While the Umatilla reservation lies in the vicinity of Pendleton, Oregon, the Tribes’ ceded territories extend from eastern Oregon into what is now southeast Washington.  “Place” is a very big part of our story.
